 the national tangelo number.
any other questions? just ask my sister.
getting my nostril pierced. again.
i promised some photo's of the conference we had last week with paula white, tl lowery, etc., so here you go.

my brother-in-law called today to let me know that he came across an arrangement of a song i learned in kenya when i was 15. i couldn't believe they had an arrangement of this song - blew me away.
yesu ni wangu wauzima wamilele
whew.
11 hours and over 600 miles later, i'm home. pulled in the driveway last night just a few minutes before midnight. i got to sleep in my bed, with my sheets, on my pillow. woke up this morning to kids screaming and running around trying to eat breakfast before it was time to leave for school. after they left, i fell asleep again.
i'm glad to be home.
i probably won't be able to post much on here for the next few days. i'm moving back to louisville on monday morning early, so there probably won't be too much time to blog.
oh yeah, my parents are moving back as well.
5 adults and 3 kids under one big roof. fun times. fun times.
people we thought were friends - aren't. people we thought were "family" - aren't. people we thought were loyal - aren't. people we thought we knew - we don't.
disappointment.
uconn - 87 kentucky - 83
final.
boo.
i really am.
wow. super busy week.
we're hosting the spiritual impartation conference with paula white, tl lowery and jonathan zigler.
46 people received Christ last night for the first time. dude.
i'll post some pictures later.
i was driving down the road this afternoon with my six-year-old nephew and was listening to sunburned's 2005 soundtrack. as i was listening to "i'm back", my nephew - keep in mind this is the six-year-old nephew - spurts out a string of "yo. yo. yo." in increasing intensity.
i almost pooped my pants i was laughing so hard.
"lets go see the lepers. can't wait to meet them!"
the following took place between 9:00am and 10:00am on the day before the long drive began.
old woman: are you two related?
dad: yes.
me: he's my dad.
old woman: oh, now i can tell. you both have prominent noses.
i proceeded to kick her in the face.
in about 1.5 hours the drive home begins. yeah!
this is a current doppler image of the "bad" weather here in hattiesburg.
schools let the kids go home today at 1:00pm. restaurants and businesses closed early. there aren't any cars on the streets.
i guess the locals are leary of storms considering what happened here six months ago.
taxes. oy vey.
i gathered all my 2005 receipts together tonight so i could create a spreadsheet to give my tax preparer. i separated all of the receipts into different categories on the coffee table - gasoline, food, supplies, etc. - and got the laptop out to start typing. what did i discover? excel has been mysteriously uninstalled from the computer. let me just tell you how much that sucks.
so what am i going to do tomorrow? itemize and calculate my expenses by category on paper. yes, paper. as in pen and paper. yuck.

duke lost to unc. 83-76. louisville lost too.
i love college basketball.
seems nancy grace is a james frey wanna-be... read about it here.
hurry with Your answer, o God! i'm nearly at the end of my rope. don't turn away; don't ignore me! that would be certain death. if You wake me each morning with the sound of Your lovely voice, i'll go to sleep each night trusting in You. point out the road i must travel; i'm all ears, all eyes before You. save me from my enemies, God - You're my only hope! teach me how to live to please You, because You're my God. lead me by Your blessed Spirit into cleared and level pastureland. keep up Your reputation, God - give me life! in Your justice, get me out of this trouble! in Your great love, vanquish my enemies; make a clean sweep of those who harass me. and why? because i'm Your servant.
psalm 143:7-12 the message
